I finally got the second chapter of UFO Girl posted up. It probably still needs some work, but it does the job.
I got all inspired to work in it because I went to see a live
RiffTrax performance of Plan 9 From Outer Space. Now I need to find more cheesy sci-fi stuff to watch for ideas. Any recommendations? I finally got around to watching The Day The Earth Stood Still (which was a great film all around BTW), so I'm looking for more.
I may have mentioned here before, but although I originally conceived of UFO Girl as a single novel, the moment I started thinking about sequels I wound up having tons of ideas. If it were to become a series, the first one would be called "UFO Girl and The End of the World", to be followed by "UFO Girl vs. Vampire Boy". After that, either "UFO Girl on Planet Me" (where Janet wakes up on a planet populated entirely by clones of herself), or "UFO Girl in Giant Monsters All-Out Rumble" (where Janet becomes friends with a kaijuu).

I've never heard my name pronounced like 'Aaron' though. That's just messed up.
