Here it is! At long last the second draft of Nekomimi Land. If you haven't been reading my journal posts about it, this is a story about a guy who gets transformed into a catgirl and later kidnapped and taken to Nekomimi Land, the city of catgirls.

The cover image (bigger version) is by my friend Thinh, who is going to be doing up a series of illustrations for the final book version. Before the story there are a couple of things that need to be mentioned though:

First off, I’m serious about the Mature Content thing. Although I’ve read much worse in terms of mature content, I can’t put this up in good conscience without saying up front that this story has some messed up sexual stuff, including a rape scene. It’s in there for a reason, but not everyone wants to read something like that, no matter what the reason.

Secondly, although I’m more than happy to share this story, I’m really intent on getting it published some day. If you take the time to read it, I’d appreciate any feedback you might have. The third draft will hopefully be the final draft (I don’t know how much more I can take, after all), and it’s right at that point where I’ve done just about everything I can think of, which means that if there is anything that needs fixing, I’m presently totally oblivious to it.

Finally, it would be awesome if comments could include responses to some specific questions:
1. What do you think the story is about?
2. Who was your favorite character? Your least favorite?
3. The final version of Nekomimi Land will be illustrated fiction. What do you think of that? Are there any scenes you think should or shouldn’t be included as illustrations?

Oh, and for some reason the story sometimes gets truncated by DA periodically; it should end with Akiko. I've had to fix it numerous times now. If it's messed up, click here for a non screwed up version.
